Since the day that Olivia, our founder, first started to experience symptoms from what we later found was a tick bite, we have been engaged in an ongoing dialogue with numerous healthcare providers. Today, there is a collective interest in gaining a comprehensive understanding of the symptoms Olivia encountered, their onset, current status, severity, and more. Our journey led us to develop an application dedicated to logging and tracking symptoms of Tick-borne Diseases (TBDs) to aid all those affected by such conditions. However, amidst creating this app, the world was suddenly engulfed by a global pandemic, shifting focus to the immediate inquiry of "What are the Symptoms?"

This prompted a shift in our focus as we deduced that patients grapple daily with an array of illnesses, from rare disorders to widespread diseases. One commonality among them is the process of documenting their symptoms over time to effectively convey this information to healthcare providers and caregivers in hopes of finding relief. Olivia, along with many others in the TBD community, can be classified as longhaulers, a term that has garnered increased recognition since the onset of the 2020 pandemic.

Our aim in offering this app free of charge is to support all individuals coping with chronic/longhaul symptoms in their ongoing discussions with healthcare providers and personal support networks. Here at the LivLyme Foundation, we genuinely acknowledge your experiences regarding the persistent symptoms lasting months or years. We firmly believe that through the exchange and analysis of data, we can contribute to creating a healthier and happier world for everyone involved.
